I'm an avid lover of all things creative and beautiful. I was incredibly lucky to grow up in a home that valued and encouraged art in pretty much every form.... and I suppose that's where it all began.

Over the years I delved into music, read novels as though my life depended on it, joined writing clubs in my school libraries, and gained a knack for picking up hobbies and crafts. It's not so surprising when my mom is a professional quilter, and we were surrounded by color and creativity. One of the most important things I ever picked up was actually the ability to pick things up - I developed a knack for trying new things, and figuring out the way they worked very quickly.

Thus, I now stand before you (digitally, of course) having fallen in love with sewing, costume design, reading, writing, DnD, and just about every craft in between. My love of history became an integral part of my life when I completed my bachelor's degree in it, as did my love of museums when I finished my master's of museum studies. Those passions inform many of my projects now, and massively influence how I look at the world. Gaining a following on social media was a complete accident, but I'm glad I did; it's made me realize just how incredible and supportive people can be, and that there is value in sharing my journey.
